Electricity Has Made it Possible for Clean Water at Brother Paulin School

Electricity was installed in 2012 at Brother Paulin which cleared the way for Tek4Kids to install water purification systems for the students. By adding electricity it allows Tek4Kids to install eight batteries to run the water systems which pumps 1000 gallons of city water per week through the cistern as well as increases the pressure used to push the water through the cistern.

In 2012, Tek4Kids started mounting two distribution tanks and two treatment tanks on the roof of Brother Paulin. It took several men to hoist the tanks to the roof of the school. In 2014, a water jug fill station was added for students to take clean water home to their families to help stop the spread of waterborne diseases.
