Thanks to all our donors, golfers, sponsors and awesome volunteers who helped make the 3rd annual Tek4Kids Golf Scramble a success! We had absolutely gorgeous weather for more than 80 golfers who participated in the scramble on September 15th at Champions Pointe Golf Club in Henryville, Indiana. The event included 18 holes of golf, a silent auction, a boxed lunch courtesy of Jason’s Deli and an awards dinner supported by Stumler’s Restaurant & Orchard along with Cisco and EMC.
Sponsors for this year’s event included Eagle Sponsor boice.net and four new Birdie Sponsors: Commonwealth Bank & Trust Company, Enterprise Holdings Corporation, New Albany/Floyd County Schools and Wells Fargo. Thanks to our many generous donors, golfers and hole sponsors, we raised more than $17,000, which will go directly to fund our current projects in Jeremie, Haiti. These projects include providing electricity and clean water to our partner schools, iPads and laptops for education and funding our new technical school, the Information Technology College at St. Francis.
