St. Louis High school students are enjoying the iPad classes that are being offered to them. Students are using iPads to supplement math, English and biology. Teacher Patrick Juste commented on the biology program, saying, “This program helps the students better explore the organism, virtually and in reality.”
The iPads are not only a tool for learning; they have helped the students become more eager and enthusiastic about learning, changing the attitude some students had towards coming to school. The iPads currently help more than 200 students between St. Louis Elementary and St. Louis High School. The elementary students come over to the high school for iPad classes once a week. By doing this we get the most use out of the iPads we currently have.
