Located up a steep hill outside of Jeremie, Centre De Montfort is an orphanage that cares for 31 girls, preschool through age 12. Tek4Kids began its partnership with Montfort, its first with an orphanage, in December, 2013.
Since Montfort does not have access to municipal water, Tek4Kids partnered with them to add a water purification system and an inverter system for reliable electricity in 2014.
The girls who call Montfort home are full of energy and playfulness. On one memorable visit, they happily danced the Macarena with Tek4Kids founders Gary and Cathy Boice. They also enjoy the benefits of having small classes.
