William Philippe, our Technology School Team Leader in Jeremie, Haiti, knows the value of hard work, study and preparation. He recently spent two weeks at a Microsoft certification “boot camp” in Florida, designed to help students successfully pass their certification exams. Each exam was scheduled after just a few days of intense study and completing a prep test. Of course, this required students to focus solely on the instructor and the materials presented.
Philippe stayed up late and woke up early to be sure he could review everything on exam days. His efforts were rewarded when he succeeded in passing three exams! He is now a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate and is recognized as a Microsoft Specialist. He is also preparing for his next level of certification, the MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert). These certifications are highly beneficial to Tek4Kids as we continue in our quest to train and equip future leaders in Haiti. As Philippe remarked after completing these difficult exams, “Whatever you do, if you put in your time and work hard, you will succeed!”
